Centro, a supplier of flow control solutions to industry, has bought Jacksonville, Ark.-based Green Controls, Inc.
The combined company that will operate as Centro, Inc., will represent all of the product lines represented by Green Controls, including Foxboro Instrumentation.
Memphis-based Centro, Inc., was founded in 1970. The company has offices in Little Rock and Nashville, with remote sales offices in Ft. Smith and Ft. Eldorado, Ark., Paducah, Ky., and Tupelo and Jackson, Miss. Centro operates with three business units: Instrumentation, automation & sanitary products; valves, actuation & engineered products; and filtration products.
Founded in 1996, Green Controls has created a strong business in flow control products serving Arkansas, Western Tennessee and Northern Louisiana. The combination of Centro and Green Controls will expand services of both companies in Arkansas and Northern Louisiana.
