How’s business?
We have had two years of back-to-back growth. We completed the acquisition of seven companies in 2012, which grew Centro’s sales in 2012 to $41.4 million. Our integration of those companies in 2013 also stimulated growth, increasing our sales to $55.8 million.

Biggest challenge at the moment: To ensure that the Centro culture is sustained through this period of rapid growth and expansion of our employee base from 61 to 106 in 18 months.

What will change in the next year? David Forell, our CFO and partner at Centro, will retire in March 2014 and Alan Waxler will assume the CFO role. We also plan to add complementary product lines, new employees and implement a number of training programs.

How do you measure success? We define success as retaining our employees, attracting and keeping key product lines and increasing sales and profits year over year.
