A specialty distributor and sales representative company focused on customers in industries where manufacturing process flow control of fluids, solids and gases is a critical success factor.
North Little Rock, AR, May 17, 2014 – Centro, Inc., a specialty distributor and sales representative company focused on customers in industries where manufacturing process flow control of fluids, solids and gases is a critical success factor, assisted a large Arkansas containerboard mill in urgent need this past Saturday night. Keith Barnes, a Centro technical support specialist, insured that the Green Bay Packaging plant in Morrilton, Arkansas received a vital instrument for their flow control process.
Around 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening, Lark Price, a sales representative at the Centro North Little Rock branch, received a call from Green Bay Packaging. The plant needed a Foxboro ITM25 magnetic flow transmitter to continue operations. The transmitter informs control systems of the volume of flowing material in a pipe and is used at the packaging plant to make sure the correct mix is maintained during the process that produces cardboard.
Price referred Green Bay Packaging to Barnes. Barnes confirmed he had the ITM25 in inventory and called David Andrews, at Green Bay Packaging. Unsure how to get the transmitter to Morrilton as fast as possible, Barnes and Andrews decided to use a courier to transport the meter. By 8:30, the courier had been guided to the office by Barnes, where he signed for the unit and headed back to Morrilton, 50 miles away.
These dedicated Centro employees insured that the transmitter made it to Green Bay Packaging and that Green Bay's operations continued uninterrupted. “Everything went very smoothly, glad we could help them out of a bind,” commented Barnes.
Dedication to meeting our customers' needs--yet another way Centro is the clear choice for process flow control equipment.
