Memphis, TN, July 8, 2015 – Centro, Inc has been named as one of the inaugural honorees in the Memphis Business Journal's Pacesetters Award. The award honors the fastest-growing private companies in the Mid-South who consistently and substantially grew revenue year-over-year in the Mid-South. To qualify each Pacesetter had to be an independent company with an average of at least $1 million in revenue for the three most recent years.
Centro has experienced significant growth in 12 of the last 13 years. Many of those years Centro achieved double digit growth. Since 2001 Centro has grown from an $11 million company to a $63 million company. Last year the Memphis Business Journal ranked Centro, Inc. the 89th Top Private Company for 2012-2013, as well as the 7th Fastest Growing Private Company in the Memphis Metropolitan Area. This year Centro moved up to the 85th position in the MBJ Top 100 Private Companies list.
The winners of the Pacesetters Awards will be announced at an event on Thursday, Aug. 20, 6-8:30 p.m., at Memphis Botanic Garden, and in the MBJ edition published Aug. 21.
